New Feature: Know Your Needs!

posted by Justin Wise on August 4, 2011 in Features, Screencasts

When a need arises from someone in your community, do you know how to help them? Sure, you can track folks down to sign up for meals for the couple with the new baby, but what if there was an easier way?

A way that didn't involve you stalking people like a mafia hitman?

What if you didn't have to beg, borrow and plead for people's help every time a need came up? Wouldn't that be great?

I'll answer for you: Yes. Yes it would. Which is why we want to introduce our newest feature here at Cobblestone: Needs. Take a look at how it works:

The needs feature allows you to:

  • Easily add what you need help with
  • Specify how many volunteers you are asking for
  • Show where the need is located
  • Define when the need is occurring
  • Attach necessary files
  • Manually add volunteers who aren't a part of Cobblestone
  • See if the need is met or unfulfilled

All that from the comfort of Cobblestone. Pretty great, right? We enjoyed building this feature and we think your online community will like using it. Let us know what you think!
